And without further ado, tonight I am rocking the classic white/navy Basket. One of the few Suede/Basket/Clydes I do not rock with the lace and formstrip colors matching.

I just kinda realized that I have several cool little Puma keychains & thought it would be fun to share the pics of these little trinkets

- the rubiks cube came with the Solebox R698s, as a little bonus gift
- the V-Konstrukt mini gloves came with the actual 'keeper gloves
- I bought the Montreal Impact one at a game this summer (Puma sponsors the team)
- found the hat and shoe on ebay.

Not sure I have enough keys for all of them

Clyde Script sizing and fit?

I haven't posted in ages -- 'S UP?? -- but I have a burning question. Can anyone tell me how the Clyde Scripts that have been out for a year or so now compare to the older Clydes we know and love that started coming out in 2005? I take a 13 in those older Clydes, but a 14 in all other Pumas. So I want to know if the Clyde Scripts fit the same as those older Clydes.

As you can see below, the formstrip has changed a bit on them (in addition to the script, which just used to be a Japan-only thing), so for all I know they've changed the fit as well.

Sneaker shop Classic Kicks has teamed up the Puma to create a sweet R698 pack. With a nod to the 90s with the bright colors, this popular model is a mix of leather, nubuck and mesh overlays. The Trinomic branding is on the outsole and the sock liners are lycra. They come with bags - neoprene laptop sleeves. These are due to be released at CLassic Kicks (where else?!) in February. Puma Clever Little Bag

Puma has collaborated with designer Yves Behar to come up with a new "shoe box" that actually uses 65% less cardboard and no tissue paper. Much of the packaging is replaced with a 'clever little bag'. It has reduced the overall weight and takes up less space. Quite an interesting idea, and very cool design idea IMO.

Hopefully being more lightweight will mean lower shipping costs when we order Puma kicks, but somehow I expect sneaker stores to still double-box them No word on when or where these will be rolled out.

Puma Choke Hi Boots

Hi everyone!

Does anyone know where I can find a pair of Puma Choke Hi Boots in a size 11? They came in two colors (black & brown), and I would be happy with any of the two colors. These boots came out as part of the Puma 2007 fall-winter collection, and are no longer available thru Puma.com or any of the retail stores... I've been looking for them for quite some time. I've tried ebay, overstock, multiple online shoe stores, but so far no luck... Here is a pic of the boots in black and brown.

Any information regarding these boots will be greatly appreciated!

ATTENTION ALL OLD SCHOOL PUMA NUTS OUT THERE (1980'S ERA BEAT STREET). WHAT IS GOING ON WITH OUR YOUNGER PUMA NUTS TODAY? CAN WE PLEASE HELP THEM OUT WITH THE PROPER WAY TO LACE UP CLYDES, SUEDES, AND BASKETS WITH FAT LACES.
IT KILLS ME TO SEE A YOUNG NUT WITH SOME SMOKIN PUMAS ON WITH FAT LACES PULLED THROUGH THE SHOES TINY LITTLE LACE EYELET. YOU DO NOT GET THE PROPER LOOK OF THE ERA WHEN THE LACES LOOK ALL STRANGLED. IS IT JUST ME OR DO YOU CATCH ME ON THIS ? I WANT TO PUT SOMETHING TOGETHER TO SHOW OUR LITTLE NUTS HOW TO USE THE TWO PAIR OF LACES, SKINNY LACES LADDER STYLE THEN LACE THE FATTIES OVER THAT. One for the footy (soccer) fans out there!

Puma has come out with a football line honoring one of the greatest football legends over, Diego Maradona. The King Diego line has a series of Ts, hoodies, shorts and shoes, all styled in the colors of Argentina, with Maradona's #10/signature/etc on it. As a footy fan, it looks pretty cool.

Puma Hawthorne

I just came across these - the Hawthorne. Sort of a chukka boot/desert boot-sneakerish hybrid from Puma - definitely more of a lifestyle shoe than a sneaker, but it retains just a hint of that Puma-ness - the tonal formstripe and the stitched sole. Simple, clean, I like'em and think they'd be great for fall/winter.
